Clarington Place Retirement Residence in Bowmanville

The Director of Care or designate will assign the Resident’s required Activities of Daily Living based on the Resident assessment and executed care plan. The Resident Care Plan will outline the agreed upon clinical/wellness services between the Resident/POA and the Residence. The Director of Care will assign what ADL’s required that can be completed within the 1 hour of care inclusions and will advise as to the ADL’s that are not able to fit within the 1 hour of care inclusion. The ADL’s required that fall outside of the 1 hour of care inclusion are subject to charges. Residents/SDM/POA may choose either to have the additional services charged monthly or ad hoc.

The inclusions of 1 hour of Assistance with activities of daily living is per day. Any delivered care services that are outside of the 1 hour included care are subject to additional charges. 1:1 care inclusion cannot be carried over to the following day.

As Residents care needs change, our Wellness team will be there to support with updating of care plans, re-assessments of resident’s care needs and communication support.

Additional Care services are available including increasing of Care Levels and A la Carte options.
